PROMOTIONS INTERNSHIP
Treasure and Space Coast Radio, who owns and operates four radio stations based in Vero Beach, is currently accepting applications and resumes for two spring promotions and marketing internship candidates. Interns can be expected to have weekend and evening event responsibilities as well as work week office responsibilities. Interns will learn all aspects of broadcast promotions and marketing while working hand in hand with the Promotions Department managed by the Marketing and Promotional Director.
Interns will participate in the process of developing proposals for promotional and marketing campaigns for local, and in some cases national, advertisers. This internship will teach prospecting, proposal building, pitching, contest development, marketing research and database tactics, brainstorming, , copywriting, promotion execution and more. Candidates will be involved with developing and executing marketing campaigns. Interns will be expected to attend station events, live remote broadcasts, and promotional activities.
We are looking for energetic, organized, and assertive individuals that possess a good work ethic. Candidates should be comfortable multi tasking and take direction well. Candidates should also be resourceful, pay attention to detail and easy to work with. Interns are required to take a drug test and must have a good driving record. This is an unpaid internship and interns will be required to take the internship for high school/college credit.
